Vertical impact machine

The GDVC VERTICAL IMPACT MACHINE is used to remove from the flour insects, larvae and eggs.
It is usually employed to process the flour before storage, sacking and shipping, in order to prevent the deterioration of the product.
This machine is designed and built to be placed along a pneumatic transport, pressurized or in suction. We use a special kind of air-compressed joints that prevent the dust from leaking out.

The removal of insects occurs mechanically, through the impact of the product that goes through the rotor at high speed and the impact between the rotor and the outer case. This type of processing does not cause any modification on the organoleptic characteristics of the product.
Thanks to the centrifugal action of the rotor, the product is beaten against an impacting ring and against two lines of pins: this allows the extermination of eggs, larvae and insects.

Used with wheat, this operation provides a superficial cleaning of the grains as well as the shredding of the empty kernels.
This machine can process many kinds of floury products, just adjusting the rotation speed to the characteristics of the material in order to grant the maximum amount of disinfection while keeping unchanged the organoleptic properties of the processed product.

The VERTICAL IMPACT MACHINE is conceived to be placed in the drop pipeline: the product is put inside the machine from the top and dropped from the hopper below.

We can also provide a circuit of air canalization that brings the air back from the outlet to the inlet, which makes unnecessary to vacuum the system.

The size of the machinery can be different from the one indicated on table machine; in this case the machinery will be redesigned and adapted for the purpose. The inlet and outlet direction can be modified to adapt the machine to the pneumatic transport where it should be placed.
