Sample Collector

SINGLE SAMPLE COLLECTOR mod. GPRG-1

Is essentially an accessory, to be placed near the sample extractor, which includes and supports the sample container (approx. 5 litre bin). It is used to collect in the bin all the samples coming from the sample extractor, which form the representative sample.

A simple adjustable locking system facilitates quick manual bin changes. The connecting element at the inlet of the bin protects against any spillage of product and/or dust. A sensor outside the bin monitors the filling status.

Optionally, an optical reader can be installed so that the supervision system can associate the code of the bin with the sampled batch, allowing it to be recognised and traced.

MULTIPLE SAMPLE COLLECTOR mod. GPRG-8/12

Is a complete machine, to be positioned near the sample collector, which contains a series of containers (5 litre bins each) and manages their filling by creating finished samples in them.

In the multiple sample collector, the operator inserts the new pre-coded bins which the machine automatically fills individually with the product coming from the sample extractor.

A programmable computer coordinates and governs the sampling times, the number of samples, identifies in which bin the batch of product is conveyed and performs the bin change for the next sample. In this way, up to eight or twelve different samples can be extracted, identified, and stored before changing bins for further sampling. All this is done fully automatically.

Operator intervention is reduced to the safe removal of the containers holding the collected samples and the insertion of new empty containers. A system of sensors checks the presence of the bins, the state of filling and identifies the container to associate it with the batch of product sampled. A pneumatic system seals the inlet of the loaded bin to prevent dust from escaping and cleans the internal sensors.

In addition to being programmable for automation and sampling times, the operator panel in the system can be interfaced with the customer’s supervisory system to manage batch change, multi-sampling on a single batch, association with the sample for laboratory analysis, traceability, and archiving.

As with all machines manufactured by G&AS, the machine can be customised if required by functional and/or space requirements. If the plant in which our sampler will be inserted is controlled by an advanced supervision system, it is possible to interface it with the sampler for the remote and automatic management of sampling.
