Disruptor

The GDSG DISRUPTOR is an auxiliary machine used for the disintegration of the plates of products produced by the pressure of the cylinders of the rolling mills.

Its disruptive action is designed to crumble the plaques by pulverizing the flour without affecting the cortical parts. This significantly increases the efficacy of sifting machines without increasing the ash content.

The machine consists of a cylindrical case at the sides of which, tangentially, are placed the joints for the entrance and exit of the product. On the inside is placed a reel with four beaters, which are shaped to ensure the disintegration and progress of the product. This part of the machine is enclosed between two metal sheet heads, bolted, which support the bearings on which the reel spins. The metal construction is perfectly airtight to dust and equipped with a control hatch.

The motorization can be made by transmission chain through pulleys and belts or can be directly controlled on the shaft with transmission joints.

Our disruptor is specifically designed to treat products coming from the rolling mills before sieving. Inside of it, the product is taken into the air vortex created by the rapid rotation of the reel and projected against the inner wall of the mantle. Rotating beaters reinforce the centrifugation action that acts on the product by disintegrating the flour plates and eliminating adherence to the cortical parts. The batters’ ridges, conveniently orientated, ensure the continuous evacuation of the product. The dynamic balancing of the rotating parts ensures the absence of vibration and the silence of operation.

As with other G&AS construction machines, if required by feature and/or footprint requirements, the size and build characteristics may deviate from the standard ones indicated in the machine table. The input and output of the product can be customized as well as the type and position of the engine. If it has special seals on the shaft, the machine can also be inserted directly along a pneumatic transport and then crossed by the air/product flow.
